Ever egy tudós, aki autista – bár magát „aspi”-nak nevezi – és épp tánctanárt keres magának. Senga, a sérüléssel küzdő Broadway-táncos, pedig az újrakezdést. Két teljesen más világban élnek, de ahogy a nő megtanítja a férfinak a tánc szavakon túli nyelvét, közelebb kerülnek egymáshoz step-by-step. Kiderül, hogy tánc közben nem lehet kamuzni – főleg önmagunknak nem.
