Minden nő tudja és minden férfi sejti, hogy a fodrászüzletben a frizura csaknem mellékes dolog: legalábbis nem kizárólag praktikus okokból járnak oda a hölgyek. Ezeknek az akár régi, besárgult csipkefüggönyös, akár a legújabb dizájn szerint épült helyiségeknek komoly szerepük van a női lélek fejlődésében, megújulásában, épülésében, rehabilitálásában. Hétköznapi pletykák, isteni receptek, háztartási praktikák cserélnek gazdát; ugyanakkor élettörténetek, nehéz sorsok, mélyen őrzött titkok is napvilágot látnak a hajszárítók zúgása, a burák melege alatt. Hat hölgy Oscar-díjas története egy fodrászüzletben.
A színdarab Magyarországon a THEATRUM MUNDI Színházi és Irodalmi Ügynökség közvetítésével kerül színre.
