Gavin (John és Barbara fia) 16 éves, míg Vicki (John és Mary lánya) 15 éves. (Vigyázat! John ugyanaz a személy, és még mindig taxisofőr!) Vicki és Gavin megismerkedik az interneten, s a lány meghívja magukhoz a fiút. Mikor a közös apa tudomást szerez minderről, kétségbeesetten próbálja megakadályozni a találkozást. Stanley, a régi bútordarab házibarát természetesen ismét belekeveredik a bonyodalmak sodrába: John embert próbáló feladatokat bíz rá, hazugságokra kényszeríti, nevetséges helyzetekbe sodorja, s újabb övön-aluli gyanúba keveri. Ahogyan ez egy igazi jó baráttól elvárható…
S ha mindez nem lenne elég, az események csúcsán beállít Stanley szenilis apukája is…
