Lőrinczy Attila nagyszabású Shakespeare parafrázisa összetett módon ábrázolja az ember esendőségét. Műfaja, stílusa ennek megfelelően sokrétű. Abszurd helyzetei, bizarr karakterei vígjátékiak, miközben végig ott lapul mély érzékenységük. Közege modern, nyelvezete egyszerre klasszikus és mai, fennkölt és trágár. Mindeközben izgalmas, fordulatos krimi, pergő cselekménnyel. Míg a halál el nem választ…
Our offer
There are evenings when our Opera House cannot perform because rehearsals are ongoing on stage until the evening. There are audience members who can only afford to hear their favourite pieces with a discount. And there are works that, although very popular, cannot be staged every season due to the congestion of productions.
This ballet's plot is inspired by The Corsair, a famous verse written in 1814 by Lord Byron, who towered over an entire generation of English Romantic poets.
A 60-minute tour starts every day at 13:30, 15:00 and 16:30 in English. To request a tour in other languages (Italian, Spanish, German, French, Greece and Hungarian), please get in touch with the OperaTour team. Please note that the auditorium is closed for visits during rehearsals. Guided tours are not available during performances.
