Az előadás központi gondolata az emberiség vágya a lehetetlen birtokba vételére. A lehetetlen mint ördögi kísértés ugyanakkor a tudás és a fejlődés egyik záloga. Tallis és Mozart műve a maga szempontjából két kompozíciós technikai nonszensz: a Tallis-mű egy negyvenszólamú kompozíció, amely leginkább csak három hangot használhat, a Mozart-szimfónia utolsó tételét betetőző quodlibet pedig egy senki által soha sikerrel meg nem írt négyes fúga tetőponti pillanatát idézi. more
