2018 nyarán a Szegedi Szabadtérire érkezik Tevje, a tejesember és Anatevka polgárainak története, így végre a szegedi nézők is dúdolhatják a Ha én gazdag lennék című slágert. A Hegedűs a háztetőn ugyanis most szerepel először a jövőre 87 éves fesztivál műsorán.
A főbb szerepekben Stohl Andrást, Tóth Gabit, Jordán Tamást, Csákányi Esztert, Hevér Gábort és Éder Enikőt láthatják a nézők.
