Grace-t az idős parasztasszonyt nemrég engedték ki a kórházból. Gondozója, a New York-ban nagy karriert befutott önkéntes szociális munkás, Glória, mellette akar állni utolsó óráiban. Kettőjük történetét mondja el az ismert amerikai író, miközben a néző önfeledten nevet az élet abszurd helyzetein. Egy humorral teli, megható történet hitről, életről és halálról.

A century ago, the world first encountered this remarkable opus, a work that soon became one of the cornerstones of twentieth-century musical innovation. Premiered in 1926, the singspiel is a milestone in Hungarian music history: its composer, Zoltán Kodály, fulfilled his aspiration to elevate Hungarian folk song of ancient origin to the same status as classical music, by virtue of its equivalent values, placing it on the stage of the nation’s Opera House.
Two giants of Baroque music meet during the Advent season in a performance by the OPERA Orchestra and Chorus. Bach’s well-known Magnificat is performed in its original version, in E-flat major, supplemented with movements specifically tailored to the festive season by the composer himself.
