Nincs a világon jobb egy jó nagypapánál. Egy jó nagypapa elviszi az unokáját horgászni, vonatozni, állatokat nézni, mindig van nála süti és olyanokat tud mesélni, mint senki más. Egy jó nagypapa világbajnok a horgászatban vagy a sakkban vagy a fütyülésben. Egy jó nagypapa megtanít mesélni, álmodni, élni. De mit tegyen az ember, ha sajnos nincs nagypapája?
Mesénk hőse, Gabi elindul, és keres magának egyet. Egy nagypapát, aki világbajnok a fütyülésben és olyan papírsárkányt tud készíteni, amivel igazából is lehet repülni. Egy igazi, repülő pótnagypapát.

This ballet's plot is inspired by The Corsair, a famous verse written in 1814 by Lord Byron, who towered over an entire generation of English Romantic poets.
