A Fitos Dezső Társulat 2013-ban Washingtonban bemutatott nagy sikerű A Magyar Falu című táncprodukciója folytatásaként, újra visszanyúl a tiszta forráshoz. Nagy kihívás és fontos feladat hagyományt őrizni és egyéni ízzel bemutatva színházi élménnyé emelni a ma emberének! A kíváncsiságból, amely mindig figyelemmel veszi körül a másik embert, különösen a távolról érkezőt és abból a kíváncsiságból, amely önmagát fürkészi: ki vagyok én, kik voltak az elődeink, hogy éltek, miben hittek....? Ezekre a kérdésekre keressük a választ.
A Kárpát- medence kulturális sokszínűsége melynek kimeríthetetlen a folklórkincse, változatos és színes világot mutat be a városlakóknak. Az élet rendje évszakról évszakra, napról napra, percről percre diktálja a tennivalókat. Dalainkban, zenénkben és táncainkban megőrizve azt az ősi tudást és erőt, ami régről jön, és ott van mindnyájunkban.

Set in the Roman Empire around 74 BC, Spartacus was László Seregi's first true full-length ballet, which at one stroke became a milestone in Hungarian dance life. Since 1968, one generation after another has enjoyed the historically themed choreography, which treats the story of the ancient slave revolt in such a way that its true message is not the rebellion itself, but rather human emotions and choices under pressure.
