Sci-fi vígjáték 1777-ből, Carlo Goldoni tollából, Joseph Haydn zenéjére, Esterházy Miklós kisebbik fia esküvőjének apropóján.
A szimfóniák és vonósnégyesek atyjának tartott Haydn több operát komponált az Esterházy-kastélyban eltöltött 24 év alatt. Ezek egyik legérdekesebb darabja Goldoni népszerű komédiáját dolgozza fel: egy ál-asztrológus, Ecclitico és a fiatal Ernesto szerelembe esik a gazdag Buonafede két lányával, ám az apa nem adja áldását a frigyekre. Egy csodálatos holdbéli utazás azonban teljesen más megvilágításba helyez mindent...
A sziporkázó vígopera a Gödöllői Királyi Kastély Barokk Színházában tekinthető meg Toronykőy Attila rendezésében.

A 60-minute tour starts every day at 13:30, 15:00 and 16:30 in English. Please note that the auditorium is closed for visits during rehearsals. Guided tours are not available during performances. For selected tour times, tickets are also available with the PreOpera Menu package.
