Cserháti Zsuzsát a második popgeneráció egyik legkiemelkedőbb egyéniségét tartják számon, kritikusok szerint a hazai poptörténet legjobb énekhangja volt az övé. A ’70-es évek egyik legtöbbet foglalkoztatott énekesnője, a ’80-as években azonban háttérbe került, majd mintegy másfél évtizedes kihagyás után 1996-tól Magyarország legnagyobb sikerű visszatérését mondhatta magáénak.
