Kalandos történet állatokról, növényekről, varázslókról, emberekről. Bumba történetét Nyugat-Afrika izgalmas világa, a Száhel övezet népeinek kultúrája, zenéje, tánca, szokásai, mondái, mesei inspirálták. A ritmus, a tánc és a történetmesélés, hasonlóan kapcsolódik össze az Apró Színház előadásában, ahogyan az ősi Afrikai színházban.
Az előadás a Tatabányai Jászai Mari Színház, Népház és az Apró Színház együttműködéseként jött létre.
