Az emberi játszmák változatos és hol vérre menő, hol mulatságos természetrajzát mutatja be ez a darab Wil Calhoun, a Jóbarátok televíziós sorozat egyik írójának tollából.
A helyszín két egymásra néző erkély. Az egyiken Alvin, aki képtelen felvenni a ritmust a világgal. Inkább elszigeteli magát, és lakásába zárkózva találja meg a vágyott nyugalmat, könyvekkel és sportközvetítésekkel. A szemben levőn azonban egyszer csak megjelenik a lehengerlően vidám és rendíthetetlen Karen, és a világ máris újból kézzelfogható közelségbe férkőzik. Összecsap két szemben álló nézőpont, férfi és nő, optimista és pesszimista, Jin és Jang.

Since 1968, one generation after another has enjoyed the historically themed choreography, which treats the story of the ancient slave revolt in such a way that its true message is not the rebellion itself, but rather human emotions and choices under pressure.
