A vígjáték eredeti címe Jeeves and Wooster, szerzői pedig a Goodale fivérek, akik P. G. Wodehouse, a fanyar, abszurd angol humor nagymestere művei alapján írták meg darabjukat.
A mű főhőseivel mindig történik valami:
Bertie, azaz Bertram Wilbeforce Wooster az angol arisztokrácia meglehetősen kétbalkezes példánya. Csakis annak köszönheti, hogy nem csinál tökéletes idiótát magából, hogy van egy inasa, aki mindent tud, mindenkit ismer, elegáns és csak akkor beszél, ha kell.
Jeeves szintén tudna miről mesélni: ezüst holmi alattomos elrablásáról, rémisztő menyasszonyjelöltekről, tarajos gőtékről, sőt egy zsarolásra felettébb alkalmas jegyzetfüzetről is...
Az eredeti West End produkciót Mark Goucher és Mark Rubinstein állította színpadra.
A színdarab első előadása 2013-ban volt Londonban.
A Színdarab Magyarországon Mark Goucher és Mark Rubinstein (Fiery Angel Limited, London) és a THEATRUM MUNDI Színházi és Irodalmi Ügynökség közötti megállapodás alapján kerül színre.

Two giants of Baroque music meet during the Advent season in a performance by the OPERA Orchestra and Chorus. Bach’s well-known Magnificat is performed in its original version, in E-flat major, supplemented with movements specifically tailored to the festive season by the composer himself.
While the Fountain of Tears bubbles before him, Giray, khan of the Tatars, is lost in brooding. Just as the flow from the marble fount cannot be exhausted, his own sorrow will never diminish, either. The story of the Fountain of Bakhchisarai is set in motion by a romance recounting the reason for the khan's gloom.
