A Nobel-díjas Albert Camus a világ szinte valamennyi nyelvén megjelent regényének monodráma változatában egyetlen színész tucatnyi alak sorsát játssza el a pestis sújtotta Oránból. A több mint négyszáz előadást megélt párizsi bemutató után a darab magyar változatát Hegedűs D. Géza adja elő.
