The story is familiar. The destitute denizens of a tucked-away village dream of a better life. They are amazed by the sudden arrival of a stranger, who boasts of murdering his own father. Synge\'s humour and naive spirit of storytelling elevate his work to among the finest of stage plays. Péter Rudolf brings this piece to the Pesti Theatre stage.

Valahol, egy isten háta mögötti ír faluban, annak is a végén, a kocsmába beállít egy ágrólszakadt, vézna fiatalember, és azzal henceg, hogy megölt valakit és az igazságszolgáltatás elől menekül.
