A kortárs zene és a kortárs tánc találkozik Mészáros Márta 2001-ben bemutatott A csodálatos mandarinc.filmjében, amelyben Bozsik Yvette a Lányt alakította és koreográfusként is közreműködött. A filmvetítésre ismét sor kerül a Ludwig Múzeum #Bartók c. kiállításához kapcsolódva november 26-án, 16 órakor a 3. emeleti kiállítótérben, vetítést követően a Kossuth-díjas koreográfus, táncművész tart előadást a filmről és koreográfusi munkárjáról a Bartók-zene tükrében. A csodálatos mandarint 2014-ben a Dohnányi Zenekar felkérésére koreografálta újra a MÜPA színpadára.
Bozsik Yvette nagy tisztelője Bartók Béla munkásságának, és a zenéjét többször is felhasználta a koreográfiáiban. 1994-ben Halász Péterrel és Fischer Ivánnal állították színpadra A fából faragott királyfit a Zeneakadémián és Münchenben. 1995-ben a Katona József Színházban kétfelvonásos Bartók-est keretében készített koreográfiát A csodálatos mandarin és a Két portré zenéjére.
