Az észvesztő tempót diktáló darabban húsz jelenetben ismerkedünk meg különböző emberekkel, akik semmi mást nem akarnak, csak összejönni valakivel, és a sikert vagy a kudarcot valamilyen módon túl szeretnék élni. Mindannyian boldogok akarnak lenni, de senki sem veszélyezteti jobban a saját boldogságukat, mint ők maguk. Hol nevetséges, hol siralmas, hol megható, hol bosszantó, hol szellemes, hol groteszk helyzeteket látunk. Ez a musical tulajdonképpen egyfajta könnyed párkapcsolati enciklopédiának tekinthető, a legkülönfélébb randevúfajták számbavételével.
