Egy lélegzetelállító táncmű, mely saját vágyainkkal, félelmeinkkel szembesít; nyolc nő története a női létről – várandósságról, szülésről; végül egy pörgős darab a szépség természetéről. Többek között Maurice Ravel Bolerójára, Steve Reich és Erik Satie zenéire készültek a 1st Steps-est koreográfiái, melyek ellenállhatatlanul izgalmasan mesélnek Hans van Manen, Johan Inger, Jiří Kylián és Alexander Ekman táncnyelvén az élet mindenkit érintő területeiről. A korábbi évek bemutatói, a Trois Gnossiennes, a Walking Mad és a Falling Angels idén az Episode 31 című új produkcióval egészül ki, ezekkel a remekművekkel teszi meg az „első lépéseket” a Magyar Nemzeti Balett a 2019/2020-as évadban.
