Off Pointe
Modern ballet evening in three acts
Off Pointe, that is, without pointe shoes – the way that the dancers will be dancing the three ballets of this show. Black Cake is Hans van Manen’s uproarious celebratory parody, which he created for the 30th birthday of the Nederlands Dans Theater. Bedroom Folk is a simultaneously serious and madcap work with a captivating atmosphere that combines exotic dance elements, a choreography from one of the most exciting and original creative pairs in contemporary dance today: Sharon Eyal and Gai Behar.
